What I spent Durango need to carry one coast to another tow a UHAUL? I have a 1999 Dodge Durango. It has 153,000 miles on it. (Ouch). I have to go to Portland Oregon, West Virginia Logan. It's like a player 38 hours. I cannot trade it and I have no other options. I also tow a UHAUL trailer. T it do? What can I do to help it happen without crappin on me?
Ha Ha Another victim of the absurd point mapquest time point.
Realistically 2600 mile trip W / trailer in tow will take you 4-5 days.
I can tell you from experience that U-Haul is very picky about the size of a trailer, they will be attached to a particular vehicle.
If you have the V-8 rather than the V-6 will be towing a lot easier.
Regarding what you can do okay.
In fact driving with a trailer at highway speeds does not really stress to an engine too - something about inertia,
What is stress engines up and down and needs to win and lose speed.
So, really smooth driving is really important.
When notice of how drivers conduct semi-trailer road point of view of energy savings of inertia.
Basically, if you can avoid losing 10 mph traffic reading correctly, then you do not have to stress your engine to retrieve
It's only me, but
When I change my oil for this kind of travel I use a weight right rather than a multi-viscosity. I think they offer better protection. I think that W40 would do well.
When you get to WV you will change it anyway and then you can return to a multi-screw.
Above that is the usual vehicle before the trip again. Check hoses, belts, fluid changes, PCV valves, filters. Did you look in your spare tire and tools needed to change a tire? Spend sixty dollars and buy a taking 3 tons of soil and a 4 spinner. It is worth
Fun
