There are hotels on Las Vegas Boulevard, more just off the strip and a few blocks walking distance of the strip in downtown Las Vegas. Fremont Street was canopied by tens of thousands of lights. Several times, I'll fly to Las Vegas and take a shuttle close to my hotel door. Then the day I want to begin my weekly rentals, I take a taxi to the rental agency to pick up my car, taking care to pick it up at the same time of day that I return it the day my departure.
