INTRODUCTION OF A NEW LITERARY GENRE

Information and Truth

What we hear, read, says, sees, tastes, feels, remembers, and experiences affect our understanding. It is the "truth" as we perceive it. Recalling, in particular, evokes the attitudes and emotions related to the "true" knowledge of past events. These experiences affect how we experience and interpret this - especially if a past event is somehow related to an occurrence or imminent. For example, if one had been bitten by a white dog in the past, because the same white dog again can make a more automatic response, such as fear or hatred, even if the dog appears now in favor of others, who may then do not understand your reaction fearful. Your perception of reality is different, although you and others are all presented with two identical stimuli and information currently.

In fact, much of what you might expect a "new experience is likely to be based on many past experiences that may or may not be directly related. A beautiful woman ever seen by man particularly likely to attract, have no effect on him, or repel, depending on past experience / inexperience. First impressions are often based on past experience, learned or instinctive prejudices: a classic study in Scientific American showed images of man's own face, but with different amounts of hair, for the respondents . Hair ranged from totally bald with a long beard and long hair with a mustache. Respondents were asked to put the faces they saw in order, according to attractiveness. The clean-shaven, no mustache and hair neatly trimmed, was chosen as the most attractive. hair full and total baldness were the lowest on the list. In addition, the presence of a mustache reduced confidence. The faces presented were identical in all other respects. Progression from one stage to the cons hair baldness was considered a factor of attractiveness, but the test subjects did not see progress in addressing cumulative stages (progression).

Progress in the literature (the cumulative steps of the revelation of facts) is what makes reading enjoyable: we are not certain of the outcome, and what we think is true may develop in different directions depending on the information. In fact, different players react differently guarantee. A beautiful novel captures the attention and interest of most readers.

Real world experiences are not, in general, as complete as a novel conceived. modern writers, of course, reflect the chaos of our modern world emerging in which, for convenience, I term chaotic literature, literature of white noise, deconstruction, more or less minimalist influences. The result is an embarrassment to most readers, who must cope with the stressors even in real life. time, for example, is short, and many of the most popular works, such as works of Stephen King, is read avidly as a whole other world is spread out to enjoy and appreciate, however grim. Fantasy and science fiction works have their loyal following, too. In all his writings, the "truth" is important - a guideline in the fog, a face in the mirror, or a beacon in the night. But "Truth" is seen through a mist of prejudices we meet in life experiences over time. Truth has an impact: among other possible consequences and reactions to his revelation, emotions and thoughts can be stimulated or depressed. At any time, which is perceived in the real world as the "truth" can not change abruptly.
