Short Term Motorcycle Insurance

I am looking for a street bike for just the summer and I was wondering if it would be possible to obtain some form of short-term insurance for a short period of time as two months.

Does anyone know if this is possible? If yes, then who does?

I usually buy this coverage during the summer when I take trips on my bike.

I've done this before - take out insurance from a company regular, then cancel it. They must pay the remainder of the unused portion of time (at least State Farm has done that for me).
