Short Term Car Insurance Uk

Short Term Car Insurance UkShort Term Insurance in the UK on non-UK registered cars?

I just bought a Dutch registered LHD car from eBay that I intend to export and save two months abroad. It is unnecessary to include it in the United Kingdom. I was hoping to ask a friend to drive it for me on his blanket insurance (driving other cars with their permission with only one third) in my house until I am ready to export, but then I discovered that because the car did not have insurance on it is not legal to use clause of driving others of his insurance.
I also tried a few companies in the United Kingdom provides short-term insurance, but refused because he is not registered in the United Kingdom.
put it on the back of a transit car is a bit too expensive.

I intend to try to get a short-term insurance in the Netherlands by phone or internet but because of the language, it seems a bit difficult at the moment.

Can you please help me with my options - perhaps I'm missing something here.

I think the council check with the U.S. insurance companies is unnecessary in your case. I fear it is unlikely that you will get insurance on a car that is not registered with the DVLA. I think the only option would be moved to a trailer such as driving while uninsured is just not worth the risk.
