Off Road Vehicle Insurance

Off Road Vehicle InsuranceDo you need insurance for a vehicle that you have taken the road and have a Sorn for?

I took my car on the road to protest against the cost of road tax prices and gasoline. The car is Sorn with the DVLA but I can find no information on if I need to keep insurance on it or not! Any idea on this? Please ...........

If you still own the car, you still need insurance on this. Here in the U.S., you can "suspend" most of your coverage if you're not driving. This way, you only pay for coverage, if it is damaged or stolen, you're always covered. I guess they have something similar, too.
Also, if you cancel, you will end your insurance history, making it much more expensive insurance when you decide to raise. Call your insurance company and ask them what options you have.

Well you do not need insurance, but if something happens while you keep it off the road, your car wont be covered. The question was asked, if this can help you ...... http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index? ...

If you're not going to be driving it, I would take out insurance, but I do not think you will not lead to the original long, then you have to recover everything before driving again and will be one more headache.

If it is not on the street, and you do not drive, then no.
