Motorcycle Insurance Claims

Motorcycle Insurance ClaimsDo motorcycle insurance claims must be recorded on car insurance?

Recently, I renewed my car insurance and I've said made no claims in the past 5 years, 3 years ago I applied for motorcycle insurance, when my bike was stolen - I'd put this on my car insurance?

Yes, it is a claim the vehicle. If you fail to see, they could claim later your insurance is invalid.

All motorized vehicles you drove must be recognized by the insururs through your knowledge.
call them if you are worried

The insurance industry has what is called a ratio index. It is similar to your credit report, but the lists of your application history of property insurance: the landlord / tenant / auto / cycle.

No matter what your insurance company motorcycle with any insurer can take your report and see all your applications. It's how they determine the risks, etc.

Contrary to meet everybody, I would say no.
My reasons for this position are:

1. If you have separate insurance, you pay for them separately (the same company or not), these two issues are independent.
2. For ind bikes are different machines of different categories require quite diffferent skillsand conduct their driving techniques and navigation are poles.
3. The Statement on any form whether you make a claim is limited to the earlier type of vehicle you are looking for insurance or renewal and therefore cross the applicability of a lack of skills or whatever that might mean is not problem.
4. report index's OK, he talks about your story about driving in each case, but not in general terms and summarizing that "since you lack the skills of bike riding, you can deduct default car driving skills too.

Insurance is specific to the vehicle that stands out for you, even if the rider is the cause of the accident.

Yes, because you do not make a claim.

Call and ask your insurance agent. Maybe there are some claims that a disclaimer is not required to be reported. Your agent knows not the answer.

Evaluation is generally done using the last 3 years to determine how much you pay for your insurance. Be aware that this may make your insurance premiums rise.

Hello. you must tell the truth as they later find out. and then they will not let you ask again that you lied to the insurance company.

Yes you should, as if you are claiming they will check and it will show on their database, then they will probably void your insurance claim, leaving you out of pocket.

Probably the best way to get insurance quotes on the web.
Why would you waste your time on the phone calling around?
the last time I needed quotes on insurance i used one of these comparison sites and it was great.
is the site I used and it was fast, such that less than 5 minutes.
The last thing I want to do is listen to elevator music while waiting for a seller.
Anyway, I have good quotes and ended up saving money so I was happy.
So shop around and compare quotes which is easy on the net.
Good starting point is to this site.

Good luck.

I would say yes because the question on the form is usually "Have you suffered losses or claims made ..." so yes. permanently.

You must declare this - one of two things:

1) The insurance company noted their records and do not change your premium. In this case, obviously there is no problem.

2) The insurance company does not affect your premium - in this case, they considered the fact that you had not told them as the material and could cancel your policy.

So you see - you can not lose.
