Motorbikes Direct

I just passed my bike and now intends to take next 4 days of training direct access. I've never ridden a bike before so it is all new to me. has anyone else taken this course without any previous experience of cycling and how did you find?
I also have 2 bikes in mind. Yamaha R6 and cbrr600. which?
