Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance

Motor Vehicle Liability InsuranceI had a ticket in New Jersey for 39:6 b-2 drive a motor vehicle without insurance of civil liability.?

My car was a mechanic to fix it (at the time it got a ticket he was there for 11 months) The car should be kept on private property. And the mechanic said he had insurance broker, I didn't need mine. I have some questions first. The car was parked i wasn't driving the car is the ticket is still good? Then I heard if you have other insurance in the household of the automobile in question is technically "insured". Personally, I have full coverage on a late model BMW and another family member complete coverage on the two other cars. I didn't have insurance on the car being fixed because it has been fixed for a long period (11 months) .... Advice? Or help to the exact meaning of the law i broke alledgly 39:6 b-2. One last thing is only insured for 2 weeks.

if you can prove when the ticket that your car is not a motor vehicle. (If there is no motor inside). When is a motor vehicle ceases to be a motor vehicle. no motor?. then it's a trailer. success

talk to a lawyer, but it seems that if you go to court, you can tell the judge your story and you could get the ticket cleared.
