Help with ING Car Insurance evil?? I have already spent insurance company after some problems with ING Insurance (car), and now it's like they make me sing!
The switch is already done, but just before the dealer guy told how they look in the old files and "magic" (IMO) is supplied with a very old one accident of insured drivers. It is impossible for at least 3 years! Since that person is rarely here (outside the country) and of course no accident happened the last three years.
Now they have to deal with the new insurer and the broker called and said NEW "They are on record keeping because of an accident (thats suppose to have happened long ago)."
ING said the people what is happening to your bad record there must be at least 6 years for an accident record go away blah blah. Although I have not heard anything about it, after years of use ING to this point. And they say how its going to increase your insurance and so on.

When you have a complaint or an accident - it appears on your index. Insurance companies can not make stuff and put the index report. They also may not put things on your VCR that has not occurred.
The new company will take your evidence and report if an accident occurred and the application of laws has been called (even if the application was never shot it), it will appear on index. It may also appear on your statement of motor vehicle.
And insurance companies are not "send files". Insurance records and information are owned by the insurance company. We're not going to give these people. And if the file has to do with the accident - a claim file and we never send those sales agents for other companies.
Have you ever considered that the new agent missed something and rather than tell you the truth since ING blamed the new agent already knew that you were mad at ING?
"Certainly no loss happened for the past three years" - OK, so no loss happened in 3 years - only about 4 or 5 years, 6 years? "Very old" does not in 3 years. Excessive speed may remain on your record for over 3 years - so what makes you think 3 years is "very old"?
I have known companies that turned in so far as 7 years old when they shot and MR CLUE reports. Heck - an unpaid bill stay on your credit record for at least 7 years? So why do you think an accident is "very old" after 3 years and that you should not be penalized for that? Even if the insurance company is late in the discovery of the accident - they will start to charge you for it after finding it.
If you transferred your policy to another insurance company ING is not concerned about the loss of your business.
If the only policy they have with you is an automobile insurance policy, they are more likely to lose money on you than making money. They have no reason to "blackmail" you, and they will not waste their time and energy and resources thinking of ways to make life difficult.
The best advice I can give you - you do not like, but
get over yourself.
you can contact the state insurance commissioner and file a complaint. best thing to do, get a new insurance company. the accident remains on record 3 years No 6.
