Home Business Insurance

Home Business InsuranceHow do I buy insurance if I use a room for my business?

Hello! I am an independent web publisher, so basically I work from home, using my laptop. My husband and I just bought our first house. The other day I was shopping around for home insurance when the agent told me that if I run my home business many carriers mark me as "not eligible" for insurance. Is this true? How do I get around this? What is the best company home insurance?

Did you meet with clients at your home? Do you have people coming and going all day as part of your business? If yes, then you may have a problem, but only with restrictions on your policy (for example, clauses flight possible). If you do not business-related visitors to your property, you should not have a problem finding insurance.

I 'is correct. I would add that if you do not have those who come to your home business I am silent to have a home business. Sorry I can not give advice on insurance companies. I live in Florida and our choices are very limited because of hurricane risk. Many companies offer only top car.
