Check in / meet in Hanoi, afternoon, enjoy a tour around the bustling city of Hanoi, the legendary Sword Lake, Ngoc Son Pagoda, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature and the local mall market and the old town. (D)
Day 2
Off the beaten track to Mai Chau biking along the beautiful valleys, to meet locals and enjoy the local dance and try to wine country's most beautiful rice (66 km cycling) (B, L, D)
Day 3
Round up on a narrow and quiet back en route to an area mainly populated by Black Thai minority cultures of Moc Chau (bike 67 km) (B, L, D)

Round back on track less hilly, gradually descending, eclipsed by the Son La karst cliffs (121 km cycling) (B, L, D)
Day 5
Ride on a fascinating day to spend some superb views of Tuan Giao, enroute visit White Hmong village where you will be fascinated by women dress with bright pink pompoms and tassels on their caps (90 km cycling) (B, L, D)

Ride on the undulating route through quiet roads back to Dien Bien Phu (81 km cycling) (B, L, D)
Day 7
Visit the Museum of Dien Bien Phu, which will give you an overview of the history of the War of Dien Bien Phu, before cycle along the river Nam Na and tackle the climb and descend gradually to reach Lai Chau ( 100 km cycling) (B, L, D)
