Coquitlam Gun Club

Coquitlam Gun ClubIs it legal to possess a firearm in the Vancouver area (Burnaby, Coquitlam, Richmond ...)?

Are there any gun clubs, PSA (Association of shooting practice)? Prices are a handgun and license fees reasonable enough?

Yes it is legal as long as you go through all the appropriate registration procedures.

Here is a list of gunclubs British Columbia:

I am not an expert but there are clubs and guns firing ranges around, and people have shotguns.
The rules are tough to obtain and transport, etc. ..
Most people do not have one, in fact, I do not know anyone who does.

NO NO NO

You do not need there.
Unlike the United States, Canadians do not shoot each other.
Still do not know why.

... Hide under my bed typing away ...

NO

when I went to Canada, I had 2 shotguns (a 12 gauge and 30/30), declared at the border and there is no problem. You will not be arrested regardless Kenoismy ... can say. Handguns may be different.

To buy a firearm anywhere in Canada you must complete a registration form weapons by the federal government. They approve your application after an audit on you. They look for prior criminal convictions and check your medical records to see if you have ever had a mental illness.

If you bring a firearm into Canada from another country, whatever your profession may be (military, police or criminal), you will be arrested and charged.
