Has anyone ever received an insurance settlement car accident? I was in a car accident last year, I hired a lawyer and he found me a small money. I already signed the papers, and he expects the papers of the expert. It is now September 11, 2009. How long will I have to wait?? Only serious answers please!
Whenever you involve an attorney to a settlement, the settling time increases considerably and the amount you get a reduction of one third in general.

I was in a car accident on January 22, 2008. My my file kept open for some time to make sure I'm much money in the colony. After signing my paper and send them in, I received my check in a month. It takes some time, but it is the job of your lawyer to get as soon as possible.
If it takes longer, you might ask your lawyer to resubmit the documents again, or even take the company to court. I know it sounds stupid, but my sister got another 5k because the other company took longer to process the documentation and it was even more money.
