Auto National Breakdown

Auto National BreakdownWhat do you think of my speech?

Coments on the structure and flow. I know its missing quotation marks and citations.
Introduction
Attention I. Catcher: "The physical pain was devastating, but the emotional pain is still
worse. "So says Kendell Spruce National Prison Project of the American Civil
Liberties Union, after having been raped at knife in a prison in Arkansas. Mr. Spruce also
said that in a period of nine months, he was raped by no less than twenty seven prisoners. A
inmates infected with HIV.
II. Listener Relevance: Imagine for a moment of life in an environment where such things
occur on a regular bias.
III. Credibility President: I do not myself imagine. I was sentenced to three years for self
theft. I personally have seen things I hope you never have to witness. I hope you never have to go
as far as stabbing someone with a sharpened toothbrush handle to convince them that you are
best left alone.
IV. Thesis: The death penalty is less bitter than delay death in a living hell.
Transition: The death penalty kills at once, while a lifetime of imprisonment
kills slowly.
Body
First Main Point: The Liberals say that capital punishment is inhuman. The cause is clearly a
lack of prison life. I ask you, what is more humane executioner? Which
kill you in minutes, or whatever you take your life in many
years? The years spent in fear, always looking over your shoulder, sleeping with one eye open, you
Mental health slowly dissipate.
Listener Relevance: Would you rather die of a heart attack a few minutes or a slow
a debilitating disease that could take years. A disease that causes extreme paranoia and a slow
breakdown.

a. installations, sub-item: State and federal correctional report a 27% increase in inmates
inmate assaults and a 32% increase in attacks by inmates on staff. These data coincide with reports
facilities that are filled beyond capacity. In fact, it is reported that state prisons are operating at
about 16% above capacity, while federal prisons were 31% higher capacity.
Competition for scarce resources is fierce. Inmates and staff members as the stress decreased.
B. On Point: Those who are directly affected by the hazardous conditions are doing their best to remedy
situation. Protests have been held, petitions signed, and letters to the editor wrote.
These methods are mostly ineffective. The violence in these schools is the result.
Transition: This is not only beatings and stabbings, but sexual violence as well.
Second Main Point: "An estimated 6,241 allegations of sexual violence were reported in the U.S.
federal prisons and state in 2005, reports the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS).
According to the BJS report, the figures of 2.8 per 1,000 inmates allegations, cons
2.5 per 1,000 inmates in 2004. "
"The report shows that about 38 percent of allegations involved staff sexual initiative to prison
misconduct against inmates, 35 percent involved inmate-against inmates nonconsensual sexual
acts, 17 percent involved staff sexual harassment of inmates, and 10 percent were
abusive sexual contact against other inmates. " http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/abstract/sv ...
Listener Relevance: If Fargo had such conditions in 1997 there were 2520
rape instead of sixty-two reported.
Third Main Point: Let me, if you want to borrow to PJ O'Rourke, the function of principle
liberalism is preachy. Up to denounce all the bad things like war, hunger, rape,
and capital punishment.
