If you ask questions like that, you're not ready to become a broker ins.
It will depend on your state, but mostly not.
The major problems are: 1. obtain a license (a minor problem) and 2. Getting carriers and ready to sell their insurance (major problem).
If you have no experience, you're not likely to find a company willing to sell you their insurance.
But if you do, you will need an errors and omissions and general liability policies, before signing the contract with you.
Depends on what state. I do not think you're in WA. I know you need insurance E & O
