Accredited Insurance

Just curious to know what the procedure can be accredited as a preferred supplier with an insurance agency. There is a general contractor here in Southern California with over 30 years of experience and building a great reputation. It would be returned to customers who may be seeking to rebuild their homes, especially after forest fires we have just had in October, or any other work that insurance companies may need a general contractor for. The only suggestion I have is to call some claims adjusters in the region to present your name and your information. Insurance companies usually do not provide the names of contractors, but they must be approved by the insurance company.
