A Plus Towing

A Plus TowingThe towing capability and good gas mileage?

I heard the cost of gasoline was expected to increase by 2 dollars every year from now. I am looking for a vehicle towing trailer travel 30 'and still get good gas mileage to get to work and back. While there like it or is it a "can not have your cake and eat it too typical situation.

you quite rightly said that the duty on it, with the rising cost of fuel and power needed to pull the trailer that you do everything that is good for you on mileage, and if you go to a diesel engine the cost of it is over, and the mileage is not great on these, the most consistent, but not great, and the cost of diesel is much more than gas, you need a small car to drive around and save the larger vehicle when you need them, that would solve both problems is that many people have done is buy a smaller car for work and fun and save big for them when they are most needed, good luck.

With rising fuel prices, it will probably force the manufacturers to do what the've knows how to do it for a very long time .... make cars and trucks more fuel efficient ... They all have long known, from how to make cars and trucks easily reach 100MPG!

Anyway, I'd say give it a year or two, when prices were $ 6 million by next year gallon (as predicted by Goldman-Sachs), manufacturers will make more fuel-efficient vehicles, and otherwise there were always alternatives.

-Good luck!

Personally, stick identification with the diesels.
I drive an F350 diesel, its main use doubling and pulling 5th wheel, but you wouldnt have all that great for a TT 30 '. but I think that diesel is the way forward. I get about 20mpg highway, empty, single axle in a textbook, probably do even better. diesel costs more, but if you look, gas is much faster than the diesel. It's actually working less, yet for me to drive my truck instead of my Jeep Cherokee. While the jeep mpg sucks so even if diesel costs more, I get more miles on one gallon.
but your not going to get the best of both worlds, but a good diesel Dodge or Ford, I think it would be a good compromise.

Dodge Ram Pickup Diesel is the proposal that I have.

If you get a manual transmission, you can really enjoy the low-end torque to guide you through the gears. POP longer drive more fuel it uses!

My boss pulls a 5th wheel 37 'and gets 14mpg highway when hauling. 20mpg in town is empty!

I do not know the exact answer, but you want to check the savings on fuel consumption using the following calculator.

Depends on the frequency of hauling a trailer. It may be cheaper to rent a truck a few times a year and drive a small car.
